The Bartow Community Redevelopment Agency, CRA, is proud to launch its First Annual Paint Your Heart Out Bartow Community Project; a neighborhood revitalization initiative focused on enhancing the appearance and quality of homes within the CRA district. In partnership with local painting professionals from the City of Bartow and Polk County, the project will bring together more than 100 community volunteers to repaint two homes identified as being in poor exterior condition. By restoring the homes’ exterior surfaces, the initiative aims to reduce visual blight, improve neighborhood aesthetics, and strengthen community pride throughout the surrounding area by having the community support the community.
The community project will take place on Saturday, July 11, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, and reflects the CRA’s ongoing commitment to neighborhood improvement and community engagement. Through collaboration with local residents, local businesses, civic organizations, volunteers, and the City’s Solid waste and Neighborhood Services Departments, Paint Your Heart Out Bartow will provide meaningful improvements that positively impact families and neighborhoods within the CRA district. The initiative also serves as an opportunity for the community to come together in support of revitalization efforts that create cleaner, safer, and more vibrant neighborhoods for residents to enjoy.
